Wondering pigs or even dumped pigs happens WAY more offten then folks realize.

Usually what happens is a uneducated person buys a baby mini/micro pig and after it grows bigger then what was expected or more work then anticipated, folks regret getting them. After trying to sell it or even giving it away with failure, they then get dumped. I see and hear about this kind of thing all the time. Its sad! Folks need to know that when buying a pig of any type/breed, its a lot of responsibility. Its not a kitty cat!

Glad ya adopted her and gave her a lovin home. :)

Yea she is a reg sized pot belly pig. Female...
Named nelly... Hates my husband... HATES him. Chases him if he gets in her lot. Charges him from inside her lot. Tried to bite him.... But not me. She is so sweet and loving toward me. I taught her to stand on her hind legs with her front up on the fence and beg, also I taught her to sit. And lay down and get belly rubs....

*and yes my area I live in is know for dumping dogs.... That's how I needed up with so many...and rescued them, given some of them to freinds over the years and rescue groups. Etc.

Wow.
Didn't know about the 'discarded' pig problem.
So sad.
Wish a stray pig would show up at my farm.
They're so much fun to have on the farm.
I loved raising my pig, Bacon, last year.
Now she is remembered every morning at breakfast!
