What annoys you about your poultry?

so I dunno if there is a thread like this or not, but I thought it would be fun to make one. Remember, all BYC rules apply & have fun!

It annoys me when I go to clean the coop & the chickens all follow me in there to eat. They have all day, and yet for the fifteen minutes I'm out there they want to eat. The second I leave they all go off and do their own thing.

When the duck poops under the poop board. I have to climb down in tha sandy poop to get it.

In the older coop I would put the straw in their coop and they would scratch. It. All. Out. Don't get me wrong, I dunno what I would do without them (not clean the chicken coop, have more free time before school work, not have as many flies in my hair,
Have to pick up less poop... etc.) but the little things like this get on my nerves. Tell me if I am alone in this or if you guys have stuff to say too, I would love to know

I think the worst thing about keeping poultry is the rats. We are having terrible trouble with rats, chickens and chicken food, attracts rats.

Yeah, the rats and mice are terrible.

I believe the most annoying thing about chickens is that they would all congregate on the porch and leave little presents all over the place, like everywhere!

Agreed! We try to get them off whenever possible, but when it's raining they hide on it & we don't want to kick them off.

Yeah it's been raining alot these past few days so they really prefer the porch right now. We tried putting a fence/gate but it's kinda inconvenient for us because we're always pushing it aside in order to get out.

When they won't go back to their coop. They like free ranging better than their coop, so they will do all they can to avoid it. Also, they'll be fairly easy to catch, then struggle, and since my guard is down, escape.
