Haha I know right, so annoying. Have never done that with a hose (everyone's still kind of in water restriction mode after the drought a few years ago) but the same principle applies to mains water at the height of summer.

...And incidentally in winter also when the "hot water" runs for half a minute on glacial before the actual hot water appears while you stand there solidifying.
