What are characteristics of a roo and at what age do you start to see

It is the middle chick in this pic. When it stands up it is tall with the shorter wing feathers and stubby tail feathers that point up.

This photo shows two Partridge Rock cockerels at three weeks, Barred Rocks have the same type of combs (as an example). The chick in the background is a pullet.

I think the one on the right is a black australorp. They are all 3 suppose to be pullets but you know how that goes. Honestly they look like 3 different breeds of chicks.
