They sent 9 packing peanuts on both my order that was all doa (except one and the PPs) and the replacement order they sent the following week. The first order is where we got Raoul our BR roo, he was one of the PPs. So ended up giving 17 PPs away about 4wks later because the kids wouldn't let me take them to anyone to be processed when they get big enough. Pretty sad having all those PPs and still had to go to the grocery for chicken.

And here I thought the hatchery was sending extra chicks just in case anyone died. I ordered 25 and got 2 packing peanuts with the order. No one died in transit. Everyone thrived and I only lost one to a hawk.
Now I know the ugly truth, getting rid of extra roos! Poor fellas!

Wish I would have gotten hen packing peanuts!
