What are Production blues... and what lead to this question.

Wow, I feel sorry for you.

Glad to hear! I'll definitely add these to my list of possible choices. I'm still deciding whether I'm going to get the chicks from this feed store, or wait till the quarantine is over to get the ones I really want.
Don’t feel sorry I lived!

Wow,really neat mix. More pics please!! I'd love to see what the roosters also look like.
More pics of the Production Blues or of the others also? They're all sexed, so I don't think there will be any roos.
Oh my goodness.....how cute are they!! :) Congrats on your new babies
Thank you. :)

The ones above were, in order, Gold sex-link, Easter Egger, Black Copper Maran sex-link, and Black Australorp. The Australorps have pink on their beak/comb area because they looked similar to the BCM sex-links.
And here is the last picture, my Dad's Naked Neck.

I got a production blue 1 day old pullet chick this May from my feed mill. She is a cross of a blue astralorp and a RIR. She lays large brown eggs and is a beautiful blue-gray color. She is a large bird and very friendly.

I gotta get me some of these, I love me a big blue hen! :lau
