what is your recipe for the quail and rice and the pickled eggs? thanks

the rice is regular yellow rice cooked in a steamer.
the quail over the rice, I simmered down in a crockpot with bbq sauce for 4-5 hours.
the pickled eggs, there are some great recipes around, I used Dirk's recipe posted around here somewhere with some added beet juice for the coloring.
