What are signs of Mildew poisoning

Please to whom is available, I found mildew in the top of our feeder box of 35 lbs of food. Must have run down the post in the coop in the last rain! I found it two days ago and tired to see how far down the food it went and some sluffed off! Don't believe it hit the dispenser end (three feet high) But......
