Here are some of my special little flock members who aren’t here anymore the little Cornish rooster got stepped on by a horse and lived and that little polish hen is digorno she knew her name and that little Silkie is mr lanky he was a good little rooster

if I knew how attached I could be to a bird and how heart-wrenching it would be for them to just get killed so easily by dogs hawks and coyotes I may have never got into chickens but once you get them you can't go back you can only learn how to try to keep them safer it probably didn't help that they were free-range all the time
