Thanks all. Yep I've been in chickening a long time- the big thing was the run size since I never had to deal with that before. Based on the aesthetics of what I want to build... I'm thinking I will end up with less chickens that I'd prefer, but is what it is!

Maybe I'll try to win the coop contest again... lol.

Great advice from the above posters! Get out your measuring tape and actually measure 4sqft and 10sqft, it is quite a small space. That's why these are bare minimums

10 square feet is the size of a standard bath/shower insert (24"x60").

Consider surrounding your whole setup with an electric fence - either poultry netting, or a 3 - wire fence. This will protect your flock from the terrestrial predators. If you build your run out of hardware cloth, both sides, top, and skirts, then you will have a good solid structure that will keep most anything out., air or land.
