What are the best nesting pads to use?

There are several good pads and general material. I've used almost all of them.
My go to pads are the excelsior ones. Basically they are shredded aspen wood. They are soft and fairly thick. While not washable, if an egg gets broken in one, you can grab the mess and a handful of the excelsior and discard it with still enough material left to resemble a nest pad.

Hi! Thank you! Would you mind sharing the link to the one you get? Thank you again for your help!

We use the same type as @ChickenCanoe.s for brand, I can never remember, and sometimes I'll accidentally get the thinner ones. Those get ripped up pretty quickly, we add roost refresh or shavings if that happens, and the girls seem content.
