After YEARS of using Hovabators including a Genisis where a connection failed at 1 yr. and hubby who works in the electric door business..fixed.. he is going to convert a small wine cooler (2 shelves into an incubator for me.( be nice if I can add a turner too). I know I can get a 'kit' from Incubator warehouse, but am a bit leery knowing that some of their electronics failed sfter warranty (used 4 months) and paying 30 $ for a little fan...ah..no.Good parts? best conversion tutorial? Would want to monitor humidity also as I do mostly waterfowl....oh, and we get so many power outages, does anyone have a backup hooked up besides a computer backup battery which doesn't last long...Something that may last an hour or two, which is most outages... We have a big generator, but sometimes we are asleep or gone when it happens and I lose 50% of my hatch each year! thanks.
