What are the breeds of my little ones?

Well I know JGs are supposed to have yellow feet.

Three and five are definitely pullets.
I was thinking JG or Australorp for the black ones. But they seem to have a green sheen, where Jersey Gs are just puffy.

We were told the black ones were Australorp or Black Sex Link. So maybe they are Australorp.

That's good to know. I'm going to look into that breed today. As she gets older it will be good to know what she could be so I can know what to look out for with her.

You might have a JG and a Australian Orp.
One has yellow feet (JG) and the other doesn't. Both seem to have a green sheen, which Australorps get, but Jerseys do seem to have a bit?
I have a hen that looks similar, but smaller, and I've never been able to work out what she is. She has Jersey feet but a pea comb and looks kind of like an Australorp.

I thought my hen had a disease at one point when I first saw it

I'm not sure. The others that are about her age all weigh about the same though if it helps. She isn't heavier than they are.

Ok, the JG cockerl we have weighs a bit more than the others, and is very plump.

I might need to check their weight just to be sure. She sure is a strong girl whatever she is. She isn't afraid of much.
