One of the eggs under my broody has a smallish indentation, with starburst cracks in the shell.....but the membrane 'underneath' the shell (membrane between shell and chick) is still intact.
Is there a chance this egg can hatch?
I have 4 days until "Day 21" under her.................
I do not have an incubator..........just my broody hen............
Is there anything I should do to increase it's chances????? Or should I let nature take it's course?

1st time hatcher..........Thank you!

I just had a goose egg hatch that arrived to me cracked, so I sealed it with wax and set it anyway. But the baby was born with wry neck, so I guess It may not have been a good Idea to set it.

At this stage, I'd just let it be and see what happens. At worst, it won't hatch, which you're expecting may happen (and will happen if you remove the egg). At best-- you'll have a new baby in a few days. Let momma hen do her stuff- she's almost done!
