Im super excited right now because it's day 20 and I have a chick that's externally pipped! But bad news is, I believe it's malpositioned

What are the chances of it making it out on its own? Tia!

A good chance. You can assist hatch. Wait until the chick has zipped almost all, or all, the way around the egg, then help it out. However doing so would lower temperature and humidity-which could be serious. I would wait and see if it could make it out on its own.

Thanks! She made it out this morning! But it's been 12 hours or so and she still doesn't look dry and fluffy.. Is that normal?

Often they do not look fluffy when hatched in an incubator. When she is out of the incubator this will change.
