What are the coolest breeds of ducks that I can have?

Can you buy these breeds...

• King eider
• Long-tailed duck
• Mandarin duck
• Hooded merganser
• Pink-eared duck
• Smew duck (LOVE)
• White-faced whistling duck
• Baikal teal
• Wood duck
• Ruddy duck

I am pretty sure those are all wild ducks that you can't but except the Mandarin duck which will be expensive and pretty hard to find

I think you should just start with some ducks that you can get from a hatchery or someone local to start out. There are still very pretty ducks that you can get for 6 dollars a piece from hatcheries

Runners. I never thought I would like them when I was researching getting ducks. However, we wound up with one playing TSC duckling roulette and he is so much fun to watch.
