Pullet. Pullet. Pullet. Pullet. I'm guessing this persons chickens are laying by now? to the poster of these pics, could you please let us know how many of them are laying? (or how many are crowing?) Question: Why is it everyone seems to think any pullet with a pink comb is a Roo? I am knew to chickens and this site, but I'm baffled at the incorrect guessing I've seen(tho I've only been researching RIR's). RIR's by 4-5 months old - i think you'll know if you have a rooster. I have 4-5 WEEK old rir chicks and most of them are obvious at this age. I know it's tough for the people that only have pullets... they don't see roo's at the same age, so the comparison is more difficult. And I know people guessing gender are just trying to help, but Sorry.. a lot of really bad guessing on some of these forums.
