What are the odds of my broody taking in new babies?

I have a broody with 2 chicks that are a week old. I want to pick up 4 more 1 day old chicks from TSC next week. What are the odds of adding the babies to her current brood without mama or the older chicks picking on the babies?

Honestly, I think it would be risky. The odds of a broody accepting adopted chicks after she has sat for 3 weeks on eggs are quite good. But now that she has her own chicks, she will know the new ones are imposters and I doubt she would adopt them.

thanks for the reply...that's what I was kind of thinking too. I can always bring them up in a brooder and introduce them later.
