I spent yesterday cleaning out a shed for a new coop. Took hours
Then transferred 4 chickens to the new shed coop and 2 Jersey Giant roos to a new pen
Of course the Jerseys were not happy being caught
Later planted 4 shrubs
Then gave 3 Polish a haircut.
Go inside and realize that I'm missing a very expensive earring. I am devastated .
I order a metal detector
I go out at night and search the ground for the earring with a flashlight. Nothing.
I go into the new shed coop. Nothing.
I'm on my way out the coop door when I look down and THERE IS MY EARRING IN THE SHAVINGS!!!!!!!

What are the odds of that?????????

My husband lost his wedding ring working in the backyard building a new dog house once. He looked everywhere all over the yard, in the dog house, in the shed we kept the straw for the dog houses in.... He looked for HOURS until it got dark. Went out to feed the dogs next morning - ring is sitting on some straw right in front of the dog house like it had been displayed there on purpose!

My diamond ring is not insured, but I would have to lose my finger before I lost the diamond. It's set in a bezel setting, and I doubt it would ever drop out!
