Patty is spending her first night back in the barn tonight after a week in the house. she went to roost last night, but it's been so cold i brought her down to the house. warmer tonight so i left her snuggled on the roost with other hens. whatever was wrong seems to have righted itself--maybe she just had a bad chill (you should have heard her trying to talk, she has her voice back now). anyway, i love reading about everyone's chickens, but i never knew so many things could go wrong. i hope June will soon be back to her old self. i'd say just keep doing what you're doing as she seems to be getting better.
