What are the trending breeds in your area right now?

At the moment, Silkies are a hot fad though you wouldn't catch me dead with one. Blue egg layers, especially EE seem to be pretty big, too.
Always in high demand, but low supply are Mille Fleur d'Uccles.

Edit so people stop asking
I strongly dislike Silkies because they are walking swiffers and the roosters are mean as spit. And they are very dumb.

At the swap meets around here this spring I saw a lot of show birds. Mainly Cochins, Orpingtons, and Wyandottes. I also saw a lot of game fowl, poor quality ameraucanas, silkies, seramas, lots of other bantams. Also a ton of retiring production hens. One guy offered me 100 RSL hens for $50. I see a ton of common hatchery breed chicks for sale, I am assuming that's where they came from. Right now it is pretty clear that Ameraucanas are becoming very common here. There were several breeders selling their culls for very low prices. Last year I saw none of them at any swaps.

I saw a lot of pigeons too, I do not know any breeds. I did see a massive one and asked about it, I think the guy said it was a grunt or something.

For geese I saw a few Chinese, no goslings this early.

For ducks there is always a ton of Muscovies and buff ducks.

For pheasants I saw a lot of Red Golden and Yellow golden cocks.

Quail, I saw hundreds of coturnix.

The non-standard (APA) colors of Orpingtons seem to be picking up in popularity. Especially the English-type which are not considered show-able in the APA sanctioned shows as they don't meet the SOP.

Non-standard colors of Orp is my go-to right now too, I want a crele and a chocolate or chocolate splash SO bad.

The dark egg thing is catching on. Marans, Barnevelders, Welsummers. The Blue chicken thing is catching on. Seeing lots of Lavender Orpingtons, Blue Andalusian, Blue Rock, Sapphire Gem types from local breeders. Always a few breeders of BLRW. Of course EE, Olive Eggers, and Americauna. More Ayam Cemani breeders, but I think interest has waned in those a bit.

Where I am in Australia it's silkies, pekin bantams (aka Cochin bantam) and D'uccle. Two of which I already own. Oh and plenty of cross breeds.
what I would give for a black copper Marans, only seen one for sale and I missed out
I wish it was easier for people to export from the United States of America to Australia.
