I bought these last year as Bantam Barred Rocks, but now I'm not so sure. They don't have yellow feet. They lay a light, cream colored egg.

Would Barred Rock banties have yellow legs?
Would Cuckoo Marans banties lay dark eggs?
Don't their tails look very "gamebirdish"?

Is there anything else they could be? Dominique banties? OEGB?

Sorry for the bad pics...

I've since gotten rid of them for biosecurity reasons, my big girl flock is moving in and I don't mix established chickens, but I'd like to get more of them in the future and I can get hatching eggs from the gal I bought the chickens from.

My standard BRs have yellow legs- I think- and they lay very light brown eggs. Banties sometimes have a different shape. Yours look more like japs or seabrights. Cute though!

Thanks for the replies, y'all.

Japs (I can't believe the chicken world is still "allowed" to call them that) have super short legs, right?

Seabrights have rose combs (derby caps).

I'm pretty sure OEGB is the winner. I really didn't even think of that breed until I dug up the photos and started posting this thread, but they totally have that "Viking Boat" look of an OEGB.
