@pozees2 I am late to the party, but thanks for thinking of me. I am unneeded, but I concur.

Unless broody, my girls give me darn near an egg a day. All mine are typically sweet as pie. I have one that is sketchy, but not mean.

Are your chickens bantams or regular chickens? (Bantams tend to lay less.) And either way, what breed?

Wow! Interesting, it seems that some Bantam Cochins lay better than others, I hope the one my mother just got will be like your bantam Cochins

Yes, I agree. One barred cochin bantam, and one partridge. I'm getting two cochin bantams this weekend. I've heard they are great chickens!

i love my cochin - she is the sweetest hen in the flock by far.
