Thanks for the replies everyone! As I said befere...Ive been feeding them and providing water but, with winter coming im worried about what they will do! will they be ok if i just let them be? We have tried to catch them but they are way to fast and like I said they just fly away when we get too close! Does anyone have any ideas on how to catch them? I'd like to add them to our chicken enclosure so that they have better shelter, I think they have just been roosting in the trees at night.

I guess I was the only one that thought brown leghorns??

the only difference is the feet color and the tail feathers.

mine are super wild and flighty too.

There not Black Breasted Red Old English Game Bantams,
The birds in the picture look way to big to be a Bantam Old English Game and also have Blue legs/Shanks.
Old English Game Bantams weigh around 24 oz. and the Black Breasted Red variety will have White Legs/Shanks.

They look a lot like red jungle fowl hens to me (the wild ancestor of chickens). Some people raise/show them. Do you know what tree they're roosting in? Maybe you could sneak up on them one night? Or get a live-trap?
