What are these black spots on hens head?

I am fairly new to chickens, and have a flock of 7 free range hens. I noticed this morning that my hen Chicken Little, (they were all named by grandchildren), has black spots all over her head. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Posted a picture.

I’m new to chickens but I saw small black dots which were from being pecked or rubbing on fence however do some research on fowl pox. I’m not an expert I’m sure someone will pipe in also but in the meantime do some googling

Looks like dirt (I'm thinking wet mushroom compost?) Can you wipe it off?

Small black dots from pecking should be raised and very deep black, like so: (not my picture.)

Fowl pox has a lot of different iterations, but most of them involve swelling and other pretty noticeable symptoms. I think that can be ruled out.

I'd agree, looks like it in her feathers just above the eye.
