What ARE these chicks?!

Sold as buff Orpingtons. The more I look at them; the more I think “these are not buff orps...”

Whatever they are- they seem aggressive. As small as they are they’ll poke their chest out like a mean rooster :lau :th

I have 21 of them. It was 22, but 1 passed away.

The pictures don’t show much of a difference in shade, but I took photos of the “whitest” yellow, one with a head spot, and the “darkest” yellow.

Whatever they are, I think they’re all the same breed. I can post pictures in the coming weeks if it’s too early to tell now.

Delaware chicks. 99% positive on that. Delawares are a little aggressive, my young pullets like to bite me.

Well, wait until they grow up, and then see. Though some breeds may tend towards the docile, aggressive, or flighty side, these are not strict rules and there are plenty of exceptions. Good luck with your little chicks--they are so cute! :)
