Red Sexlinks, different hatcheries call them different things, Red Stars, Cinnamon Queens, ISA Browns, etc.

They are bred for egg laying(and to be color sexed at hatch), so they should lay almost every day once they start.

Where did you get them?

They look to be second generation sex links to me, so the sex is no longer linked to the gender. They're still great egg laying machines, usually 5-6 eggs each per week, possibly more as they're young.

If they are a Red Star (we call ours Golden Comet).. She lays every day. In the past 9 months since she started laying, she has taken only 5 days off... We worry when she does.. Enjoy the eggs!
