What are these lumps??

She should wash her hands well and change her clothes and shoes in between each trip back n forth to your house.

She should not wear shoes that she has worn near her birds into your coop.

Maybe you should make a bleach foot bath in your front yard for her to wash up before entering your property.

I might be a little bit biosecure nuts.
Thanks. I'll definitely talk to her about it. We do have a water spigot on the front of the house right by the gate. I could totally leave a little bleach water tub out there for washing!

What dosage did you use? A place nearby sells 250mg tablets. Want to make sure I don't overdose her or anything. Thanks!

1- 250mg pill.. I would fill syringe up with water and put in a small "Nyquil" cup I have and let it soak for a minute. Then fill the syringe up and slowly give it to her. I was shocked on 3rd day no signs. I have thread with pictures of my chick I will try and find and post to show you how similar they look.

Got the pills. Gave her the first dose. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, thank goodness. Now I'll just keep my fingers crossed it does the trick! Think it would be a good idea to go ahead and do a full clean out and bleaching of the coop and run area this weekend before we go out of town??

I'd focus on the feeders and waterers for sure.

Put out new clean water bowls this morning. Washed both feeders. Took the baby pool out of the run. Anyone know the egg withdrawal period? I read 7 days. Is that like all the days on the medicine plus 7 days? Really sucks we can’t eat her eggs since she’s one of only 3 we’ve got laying right now. And I’m suspecting I might need to start one of the other older ones on the medicine too. I don’t see any sores, but she seems to have that raspy sound. It’s hard to tell because she generally is super quiet and hardly ever makes any noise so I’m not sure what her “normal sound” is.
