They look just like my BSL hens. How old are they? And are they crowing at all?
Just went back and took a second look and noticed (Duh!) the first one has yellow legs. So not sure about that one except not a BSL the other one still looks like a BSL female to me.
So weird! they look like the same breed except those legs. OH well maybe someday I'll get the hang of the Gender quessing game. LOL
Here is one of my BSL pullets [surely]. She is the from the same batch of chicks, so she is the same age, 3 months. She is so funny, she sings or talks to us all the time, like she is fussing at us. I think it is sweet. This is her boyfriend Roe Hoe, he comes running when he thinks someone is bothering her or his other girls.
So you see we were really convinced that the other ones were roos because they have such bigger waddles and comb, also they are redder.
There's 3 of the roos [we think are roos] and they all look alike as far as waddles & comb. One of them, and I don't think it was either one of the 2 that I posted pics of, has crowed several times.
If they're both 13 weeks, then they must be cockerels. Those combs & wattles are too large for a 3 month old chick. Our chickens all got their wattles a week or two before they started laying. You can see their pictures with ages here:
