This was the original post I purchased from, and they have another post with different kinds of birds. The hatch rate was extremely good and she gave me an extra egg just in case. I hatched 6/7! However, she doesn’t know what birds she gave me, because she grabs them at random.

So with this one kind of looks like an Old English chick, because of the chipmunk stripes and the eyeliner. Although the eyeliner doesn’t connect to the back and there’s a strange pattern that connect to the back of his head that I’m not familiar with.

Number 2 is an all silver chick:

Number 3 is black with a white stomach and beak. I think this one and Number 4 are from the same clutch. They may be one of the all black roosters with black beaks she has in the photos.

Number four looks similar, but with different colored feet:

Number five is very unique, I can’t imagine what it could be. It was the smallest egg in the bunch as well.

Number six is just a yellow chick and I can’t expect anyone to identify that so early on lol

No worries. They’re all seramas, but does that help indicate anything?
Well, I think you've got two or three black or black-based colors. One looks like Lavender. (the silver one.) The yellow is probably white or white-based. The stripey one, no clue. Never seen a down pattern like that. Do update us!

Seramas do not breed true to colors or patterns. You could breed to white seramas and get black, brown, cream, and anything in between. I have had 3 generations of seramas from one line and they never resembled each other ever. One of the reasons they are my favorite breed.
I have had 2 chicks hatch that have a similar pattern to the first imagine shown. I can try and send you a picture tomorrow. Seramas typically have really developed chests which is how you know if they are good bred birds.

Sounds like I’ve got lots to look forward to then :)

That’d be great, thanks! And I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for their chests growing, I appreciate the heads up

Pure breed Malaysian Seramas have the biggest chests. The American seramas will still have big chests but not AS big as the Malaysians. My seramas have always been my sweetest chooks. Whenever young kids came over, they would carry the roosters around the yard and the roos would be fine with it. The roosters also have the cutest little crows in the history of crowing. Miss the sound so much. Be warned: seramas do not do well in the cold. They are so small and they have a hard time regulating their own body temperature.

Here are a few pictures of my seramas!

These are from the same brood and have the same parents. None of them really resembled each other as they got older. (5 are hen 3 are roosters) 60562561_2403694743008976_5121807904172670976_n.jpg
Here is Muffin. She has the chipmunk pattern. Also her sister Gracie in the back.

This is their mom Mini Moo. Only two of them even were remotely barred when the were grown (also in the picture is Yoda)

Here is dad Rusty. Only one of the roosters had hackle coloring like him.

This Rusty and Dusty (Dusty left Rusty right). They were in separable.

This is Yoda as an adult. She was an excellent mother. (chick is not a serama)

And this is Jordan. She also had the chipmunk pattern when she was little.
