its usually a rooster thing, their combs come in sooner and they feather in slower. Pullets don't usually have much of a comb until they get close to laying

Someone directed me to this thread. I actually have a rumpless Wyandotte too, about 4 months old! I'm pretty sure it's a Roo, although he has me a little baffled. He's tiny! He's about half the size of the other Wyandottes I hatched, and very docile. Such a strange chicken..
