Yess that is what they are I knew it was gray something and I heard they were bred from delwares

Large cornish cross broilers struggle to crow, I let a few go past butcher date by a long shot. I wanted to cross breed them this spring, unfortunately a dog had different plans for the birds. My roosters would crow but it was very soft and weak, you could tell they struggled to do it. Ranger type broilers should have no problem. It is more likely that they are not crowing because there is a mature rooster with them, I have had cockerels delay crowing for an entire year when kept with a mature roo.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I've had my own issue with dogs. I free range now supervised only. It's everyone's choice how they keep their birds but for mine free rnage is the best for them. I as think it's helpful in keeping these 2 at a manageable weight since I don't plan to eat them.

In my opinion they look like very poor quality Delaware cockerels.

They won't have the same problems associated with Cornish X broilers. These are a slower growing breed. They should be expected to live as long as any other breed. Nice looking boys, don't expect any eggs out of these two.

You're blessed....slow-growing meat breeds without common health issues attached are a much more humane option.
