What are they, breed and sex please.

I have six chicks that I brought home from my daughter's kindergarten class and thus don't really know what I got. Most are probably EE's but if you could look and tell me what you think, that would be great. I'm interested too in which one's you think are roos and which hens (or pullets?), especially the one that I think is an Amerecauna cross. I would really like it if she were a girl. I'm hoping for green/blue eggs.

The first one looks like it could possibly be an easter egger, female. She doesn't have the muff that many of them have, but she's got the green legs and the right comb.

The second one is a male, and it looks like a red sex-link, maybe.

The third one looks like a barred rock female.

I agree! Now you have a pair of Barred Rocks......

the one in the last photo is a barred rock. The females are darker than the males and that one may be female, based on the coloring of it. (I'm still learning though so please don't be upset if I'm wrong.) If it is a girl, they are great egg layers of brown eggs.
Yeah, comparred to the rock in your other post, this one is darker. The rock in the other post looks more grayish because it has more white than black feathers. So, I'd say one roo rock and one hen.

I also agree. EE pullet; Red Sex-Link Roo; Barred Rock pullet. Nice mix you have there!!!

Thanks to all of you who weighed in on this post and the second one. I am very happy to know what breeds my chickies are but am very sad to know I have at least one hen, possibly two, maybe barely three. However, I am truly addicted and so will be visiting the feed store and searching on line for more chicks.
