What are they?

Hi! New to Backyard Chickens and new to raising chickens. I just moved to my mom’s, and I’m helping to take care of her flock. In her coop she has 1 rooster and 4 hens. They are all around 10 months and we’re given to her. She doesn’t know the breeds. I think the rooster is a Rhode Island Red, the two brown hens are Buff Orpington, and the black ones are Barred Rocks. However I keep second guessing myself. Any ideas?

They're all really pretty. The rooster is very handsome and he could maybe be a Welsummer but his leg color confuses me. Hopefully you'll get someone good with breed identification but in the meantime, the black and white is not a barred rock. I would guess mix.

Thanks for the replies! I thought maybe they were mixed breeds. Every time I thought they looked by a certain breed, some characteristic was always off.
