Why does my 9 week old girl have these funny grey feathers that look like dandelions on her neck? Is it baby fluff that didnt come off or?View attachment 1375439 View attachment 1375440

I’m no expert, but I think that exactly what they are. My chicks have them too.

That's the old chick fluff that's growing out as the adult feathers grow in.

They do go thru some awkward stages don't they? Can't wait till they're all fluffed out and beautiful !
