We bought these ladies at Tractor Supply. They have patterning similair to a Black Sex Link, but the chest area has white feathers instead of red. Any thoughts?

Could they be Easter Eggers? We had an EE once w/ that coloring. Do they have the pea comb? They do have green legs it looks like, and EEs have those. Hopefully someone else has some ideas....

No, they don't look like EEs to me...the lacing says Wyandotte, like your other pretties, but that can't be right....The whole rest of their bodies are black, and they have single combs.....

Crap, now I just confused myself.

One of the chicks my BO X Cochin hatched out last fall looks very much like your baby. The egg donor was one of my Black Australorps hens, and the rooster was an Easter Egger. SO.. My guess would be that cross or BA X SLW.

Lol, I'm confused as well. The SLW's that we got at the same time have single combs. They're are all very pretty and i only wanted them for layers so I'm not concerned about them being perfect to the standard.

Ditto. I'm confused though, TSC doesn't tell you what the chicks are when they sell them?

Nope, they came out of the assorted pullets bin. The folks working there could barely tell me they had chicks, much less what breed.
