I'm trying to figure out what these lovely chicks are. They are Bantams, not sure the breed though, they are approximately one week old. Also wondering how to tell if they are hen or roo.

The black one looks like a barred Cochin.

The chipmunk could be any number of things. To narrow it down we need a better shot of feet and comb.

Clean legged, single comb... still leaves lots of options... Old English Game Bantam (white legs), Phoenix (legs will turn blue, but might not start out that color), etc.

Black chick is a Barred Cochin. Brown chick is probably some variety of Old English Game bantam. They're too young to sex.
