What are y’all doing for the hurricane?

No word from close friends in Orlando, but they probably evacuated. School buddy in Fort Myers wasn't planning to evacuate until the storm shifted her way ... I hope they got out. Cousins in Jacksonville are VERY wet, but so far, so good. They weren't really expecting to get a big impact ... but ... SURPRISE!

Eye hit us last night. The river is filled, the reserves our field and the ponds are filled. Everything is coming into our neighborhood from the other neighborhoods and the roads are going away and the trees are coming down in the wind is getting really crazy here.

I thought it was fall for a sec, leaves were falling, we got wind, and it’s cooler outside. Bu nope the tree is also falling and the wind is 70mph

I hope that my DH's sister and brother-in-law are ok over in Punta Gorda. They said that they were going to shelter in place and we haven't heard from them yet.

Try not to worry too much, we heard that cell service is out in lots of areas. They could be okay but just can't communicate yet. Praying for everybody's safety!

Yes, I heard about that on the tv new's coverage yesterday that I was watching all day. I hope everyone that experienced that hurricane is ok.

Yeh they are actually turning off power all around the state because lines are in the flooded roads. Flooding is bad this time but I think everyone will be ok.

People in my neighborhood are now canoeing, and ridding the waves down the streets.

They are all good. A little grumpy that they didn’t get to go outdoor 2 days. Other then that they are happy and healthy.
