Hi everyone, just wanted to know what everybody feeds to your ducks or waterfowl daily. NOT ducklings or when breeding. and if you want tell us what kind of ducks you have.

Well, I have fed various things. Over the last year, while not in breeding season, I have fed Purina Flock Raiser mixed with about 20% oats along with fresh greens several days a week and the occasional hard broiled eggs and Calf-Manna. For my birds that have been laying, I have also added Layena. Now, that we are reaching breeding season, that will gradually change, but this is what I have had several different types of ducks on now as a maintenance diet for a year or so. I am going to try the Purina Game Bird Layena now on some of my birds and then switch to the maintenance after the breeding season because I have never been completely satisfied with the Flock Raiser.

I feed my campbells a 21% layer pellet for chickens, they seem to love it, but thry're not old enough to lay eggs yet

I have mostly migratory ducks, some call ducks and indian runners and swans.Daily they get mazuri waterfowl maintenance mainly,15%lay pellets, scratch .As breeding begins they get the mazuri waterfowl breeder,16%layena and no scratch.I KNOW its pricey, but what can I say I love my birds. I hope alot of people post on this and well see what they are eating.BTW there is no right or wrong answers here no my foods better than your foods.Just tell it like it is that way everyone will say without no worry.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I give mine greens and minnows for treats a couple of times a week all through the year.

We feed our wild ducks Big four by Buckeye mixed with scratch grain and the domestics Purina Layena pellets with some scratch as a treat.
