Chickens....
It was my wife's idea to get them to begin with ("Won't fresh eggs be wonderful?!?"), but I seem to have overcome her a wee bit in spending time with them...sometimes around two hours at a time just watching them in the brooder....and with wanting more and more of them. *sigh* Addicted indeed.
And coffee. Can't have life without several good cups of coffee a day. Besides, it keeps me awake longer so I can watch the chicks grow!
