What are you adding to your flock this year?

I wanted to add 3 to my flock of 9 ... even dozen. Well the stupid minimum is 4! and they were older chicks so only paid $2 a piece at TSC!. I wasn't going to add any till fall but chicken math, bargain, and 3 weeks old to boot!
They are in flock no blood just pecking order stuff and this time they went in at dark BONUS!

Yes added 4 cinnamon queen's . I have 1 BA, and 3 year old smokey pearls that all laid they're normal eggs today.
I also have 3 EE and 2 wht. leghorns.

I wanted 2-3 more pullets with natural breeding. Buying hatchery eggs and having poor outcomes with bought hatchery eggs before, I decided to buy 11 eggs from two different breeders.

I had a great outcome. 9/11 : 4 cockerels and 5 pullets. Now I have too many. And an ad to give away cockerels or selling pairs didn’t work so far.

last hatch of the year! Adding approx 14 American Bresse from the Burns line in Oregon. So excited to see these little ones grow.
