What are you baking now?

Our Christmas at home has turned into Christmas at sister-in-laws and she requested that I bake....*wipes sweat from brow*.....I hope everyone likes them ("them" being all 10 batches)!!

.....my ankles are killing me.

They are Ginger Pigs or Marranitos. This was Rachael Ray's recipe and it's pretty good. I rolled them out very thin but the puff up to a good size. A lot of times you'll see them much fatter in bakeries.

DH used up a few of our duck eggs making broccoli & cheese and seafood quiches. It was just 6 of us for Christmas brunch and he made 5 quiches.

I do the same thing when I make quiches. I never start out making so many it just seems to get away from me since I rarely measure anything. That's ok, my parents always appreciate an extra quiche.

Today I'm making lasagna! Started the sauce yesterday. This is everyone's absolute favorite! My son-in-law drinks the sauce by the cupful! Like it's a gourmet soup or something.

He's offended many folks when they try to brag about their own lasagna sauce by arguing the impossibility of their's being able to compete (it's flattering but I do wish I could break him of that habit :
