What are you baking now?

Gumps bread made into an Italian stuffed loaf. Lots of garlic and spices in the dough and then stuffed with Italian sausage and cheese and then I grated parmesan cheese over the tops when they were finished baking but still hot. dh took one to his daughter who is going to a friend's house for lasagna tonight and we cut into one ..."just to see if it was ok!!" Half the loaf gone now.
It does make three large loaves of bread.

You might want to put the sauce on top each slice after it is baked. We love pesto on top of it. Maybe if you put the sauce on the dough very lightly? I think I would stick with using a dipping sauce though.

First time we ever had pesto was on this bread and we loved it. I took some loaves to church (my Sunday to bring snacks)with some pesto. Many never had pesto before either and they loved it. I only have one basil plant in my kitchen window and don't want to use all the leaves from it so I bought a jar of pesto. Yummy! Can't wait for this summer to make my own.

I made Rye bread today, along with a corn beef brisket...tossed some kraut and thousand island on the table, along with some grilled rye bread..........yum yum reuben sandwiches!! The rye was a new recipe and DH says "oh yeah, that's it".
