) Told my husband I was going to try the Cinnamon Buns again. He requested that I not do them (we don't need the sweets) but try my hand at Sour Dough bread instead. So that is my new challenge for the weekend. I'm going to cheat and use this soft dough instant flavor that I got from King Arthur Flour. You put I teaspoon for every cup of flour. I'll report in Monday how I did.

Last night I made cinnamon rolls.

Although they were the Pillsbury brand that were already shaped and they already had the cinnamon and stuff on...just had to be cooked in the oven. The glaze came with them. I kinda burned the bottoms a tiny bit, but they were still really good, especially with the glaze melted all over them!

sticky bun dough currently rising in the bread machine.....wish me luck, I think I need a new machine. Since it threw itself off the counter it doesnt seem to rise well.

update.... setting out to rise....came out well so far...

Just finished a wonderful afternoon baking chocolate chip cookies with my son. Now, onto the bread baking. Our first loaf disappeared very quickly - so this time I am making 2 loaves!! LOL...

I made two huge pizza sized cookies for a boy scout camp out. They're gonna' freeze their keesters off.

For dinner I made some crusty french rolls for my Italian Beef Dip sandwiches. And just a moment ago I put some cinnamon rolls in the fridge to rise overnight and then bake in the morning. Can't wait!
