Thanks for the encouragement! Looks like it'll be tomorrow on the Gumps Bread. Got interuptions today and had to get frozen dinner rolls out to go with beef stew for supper. (At least they were homemade rolls frozen previously.) Had the cookstove already burning, so the stew was easy enough.

Thanks for the tip, Sandee. We have a nice slicer and a meat grinder already. I'll shop the other attachment goodies though. Hmmmm....my birthday is only 5 weeks way.

I love my stand mixer. I don't know what I was thinking....I bought it a 4 years ago and just now started using it

Today I baked my first apple pie w/ cranberries from scratch. I also made Gumps bread

I have a bread recipe that I've been tweaking. Friday we had to leave for several hours so the bread had a very long first rise but I wasn't expected the GI-normous second rise! That cookie sheet is 13x19 (from edge to edge).
