What are you baking now?

Oh so wise and talented bakers of BYC, I need some ideas.

I bought some lovely rectangular copper wire baskets to fill with my pretty little jars of jellies, and they do not fit as well as I had hoped. I have gaps. I need to fill the gaps.
I thought I give a loaf of home made bread to go with it anyway,... but The gaps make it look like I am being selfish with the goods.
I have the corners open -not large enough for another jar and too small for a box of crackers.
I need to make something long, narrow, and jelly oriented.

I usually solve that problem with lots of tissue paper, but this would be too obvious.

Cookies are always good fillers. You could make some cookies with the same kinds of fruits you made the jam from.

I made the best Pumpkin Bread a couple of days ago. Just thought I'd tell.

I don't know how much space you're talking about, but what about some cute little spreaders? You know, they look like a mini knife with different ends on them. Like a hot pepper, a bunch of grapes, a slice of cheese, etc.

Excellent ideas! I knew you all would know what to do! The space is just a tad too small to get another 8oz jelly jar into.
I have two corners to fill. One for a towel with a spreader knife tied to it with a bow, and the opposite corner one for a clear cellophane bag of cookies. perfect!
I am heading out now, so you all are so timely!
Thank you! Thank you!

I have had three jars of marashino cherries out "drying" in a colander all week, so getting ready to make the nougat and get those chilled and ready to dip. I make a wonderful maple nut goody that I have been thinking about . . .plus sugar cookies, chocolate crackles, and Mountain Dew Cake that I bake in little bread pans to give all as gifts. Going to work on it all this week!!
