I am freezing cold up in here!!! So I want to throw something in the oven just for me and hubby to snack on and warm up the house at the same time.

I got the urge to make raisin bread at 7 p.m. and it finally just came out of the oven. Looks and smells yummy but i'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

I love soda cakes! They are sooo delish!
The first one I ever baked was from an old Ann Landers column. I think she called it the $2.00 cake. It was so yummy! I've lost the recipe since then. Anyone, by chance, have it? It was the best soda cake I've ever tried!

Today I'm making chocolate cheesecake and lemon cupcakes filled with lemon curd cream. Yesterday I made Almond lace cookies.

Made more fruit cake last night....the batter has been sitting over night and I will cook them later tonight. I also made peanut butter fudge and yuck!

Made a double batch of dark chocolate muffins last night for dessert and breakfasts. Forgot to put the raisins in, but they were good just the same. Melted some Ghiradelli semi-sweet chips and added a bit of Hershey cocoa and some instant expresso powder.

Tasted mighty fine this morning.
