She was 4 in November.

My dogs are not full blood they are a Mastiff/Anatolian mix. I live in an area with a lot predators and people raise these dogs to guard livestock but since the only livestock I have are my chickens my babies are just spoiled house pets.

We also are a family of two people. What I do when we get tired of a leftover meat since that means we ate it for 3 days different ways. It will go to the dog or chickens then or back into the freezer if it is a roast. That is rare though. 3 days is all my hubby can take of one type of food. Me I can go longer if it is done differnt styles but not him. Heaven forbid if it is chicken then only one day if it is roasted. He is not a chicken fan due to a Aunts cooking when as kid. I have turned him around a bit and am still working with him on it. Luckily I can do chickens chinese as well as american style and that helps alot. Now I need to work on my italian style for chicken.

Brown hamburger with chopped onions and S and P in it, drain. Put in a casserole dish, spoon mashed potatoes on top. Sprinkle with cheese if desired, bake at 350 until the edges of potatoes start to brown. Serve with brown gravy. YUM!

Stir fries are a great way to use up leftovers. Last night was left over baked chicken (on baking day the extra breast was boned, sliced and put in tupperware) with peas, carrots, half a can of pineapple, and some bottled teriyaki sauce, over rice. You can use leftover meat or veggies this way (handy in summer when the zukes just keep comming).

(almost) everything left over tastes good wrapped in a tortilla!!!

Add some rice...some beans/meat....some home made salsa....you're good to go!
(unless it's pizza....hmmmm...maybe I need to rethink this whole tortilla thing....)
