What are you drinking?

Oooh pop rocks...

Try a tequila sour some time....

instead of a whiskey sour... Same ingredients just different liquors.

Not a sweet drink fan because I don't taste the alcohol... Danger Will Robinson.

But to lighten up a beer... something decent but convenience store quality... Try pouring in some Clamato Juice... OMG... Mexican version of a Bloody Mary without the hard liquor.... Salt the heck out of the rim.... With a little Jalapeno juice to make it stick on the rim....

its soo good that way

Tequila sours do sound good. I love hot sauce in a Bloody Mary. I've never used Clamato juice before, but I see it in the store.
The wife thought I was gross for putting smoked clams, the kind you get in a sardine can in Bloody Mary's, I thought it was great!
Got the idea from my brother in law who said he was at a bar serving Guinness with a raw oyster shucked into it.

You are so close in your thinking.. Clamato also comes in spicy or Picante... get the regular and spice it up to your own taste... The usual is Tobasco. but any spice will do.. Jalepeno juice.

well seems like im the outsider here i and a budweiser drinker by heart i make 50 gallon of wine about every 2 or 3 years but dont drink that stuff lol
And every now and then i enjoy a sip of good moutain water .

I make and drink country wines, but not for a couple of years now as we moved house and the new place took all our spare time. I love real ales and country ciders (when we lived in Somerset, England there was a farm close by that made its own alcoholic cider and that was powerful!).

I also make flavoured spirits, usually using vodka and brandy as bases. Favourite among friends are citrus vodka (using peels and honey) and plum honey brandy.

Don't really do much beer, I am allergic to wheat so kinda limits the beer options for me. But I do love wine and have been making my own for about a year now. I am po-dunk in my supplies and skills, but have been enjoying the process / product. So far I have made

Raspberry
Cherry
Chocolate
Mint
Green tomato
Cucumber
Orange,banana, strawberry
Raspberry/cherry

Definitely going to try making some green tomato wine this summer. What yeast do you use?

Absinthe, three to one water to the absinthe, slightly chilled. Prefer Kubler. When that is in short supply, a good bourbon whiskey, like Bulliet. As for beer, if it's cold, or free, I'll take it. Nephew works at Sierra Nevada brewery, so I'm in good.
