Spending all my focused time listening to the audiobook I'm editing. Have changed my workflow so that now first I go though just visually looking for the sharp spikes from the dog training clicker I use when I stumble and have to say something again, to clean those out. I just finished the second pass, where I go through listening at 2x speed so I sound like an energetic story-telling chipmunk, while scanning the text at the same time, to find anywhere that the text has been changed (sometimes from my feedback during recording), or I missed a word, said something wrong, or had some quality problem (I'm getting odd buzzy sounds now and then.) So glad to be done with that - now I'm starting pass 3, which is the detailed listen at normal speed, taking out breaths and mouth noises and such. Whew. Just quit for the night.
